Stunning use of the D700 intervalometer
Chad Richard produces stunning HDR time-lapse video panoramas using the intervalometer feature of Nikon digital SLRs, and has recently upgraded to a D700. The video below is shot from Twin Peaks over San Francisco using the D700 and 14-24/2.8.

It’s definitely worth checking out Chad’s blog for more excellent time-lapse examples.

Beautiful shot, bot notice the old pulsing problem? Wonder if this was shot with aperture ring lens and whether it was set to manual and aperture ring priority?

The pulsing may come from the aperture, the autofocus, or possibly the zoom ring getting nudged. Camera settings, such as auto ISO, auto white balance can also mess up time lapse.
You can overcome the aperture problem by unlocking the lens and rotating it about 10 degrees. That locks the aperture open. You’re left with an all-manual lens, but that’s a good thing when doing animation or time-lapse.

Nice location, but way over HDRed. Check-out my timelapse http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_xMz2SnSWS4

BTW it was also shot with a D700 and a couple of D300 cameras
